Lactose Free Human Milk Brands That Can Be Given To Cats

Most cats are lactose intolerant meaning they cannot digest milk with lactose such as cow's milk and ordinary powdered milk for humans.

If you really want to give your pet cats milk, there are available milk brands that are really for pets. But if you don't have pet milk yet, you can opt for lactose-free human milk brands such as the following:

  1. Enfamil A+ One Lactose Free (0-6 months) (formerly Enfalac Lactose Free)
  2. Enfamil A+ Two Lactose Free (6-12 months) (formerly ENFAPRO A+ LACTOSE FREE)
  3. Enfagrow A+ Three Lactose Free (1-3 years) (formerly Enfagrow A+ Lactose Free)
  4. Promil LF Gold
  5. NAN AL-110 Lactose Free
  6. S-26 Lactose Free
  7. Similac Lactose Free

Can Sibling Cats Mate?

Would brother and sister cats mate with each other?

Unlike us humans, cats do not care about family ties when it comes to mating. A male cat would mate to his sister cat or even to his mother cat especially when they are the only available female cats around. This is the same for female cats. If the only available male cat is their brother or son, the female cat would mate with him if she is already in heat.

Would their litters develop deformities?

According to Cat Pregnancy Report, there's a higher chance for the kittens coming from sibling cats to develop birth defects and diseases. Nevertheless, that is not always the case. Most kittens are also born healthy with no deformities.

Also, based on my own experience, my cats do not have any deformities at all despite that their parent cats are brother and sister.
